Introduction

I will be creating a large portfolio focused on the field of concept art and design.

In the 1960s, an ancient civilization called Akrotiri was discovered on Santorini, evidence strongly points towards this Greek volcanic island as the origin of the myth known as Atlantis. Through my imagination, Greek religion, and culture, I will be creating concept art pieces based on what Atlantis, or Akrotiri, would have looked like before the volcanic eruption and rise in sea level.

Vlad Constantin Craciun was born in eastern rural Romania in 2003. From a very young age, Vlad's father exposed him to comic books as a means to teach him to read, except he was drawn to the pictures instead of the words. Vlad's love for comic books and visual storytelling continued into his adolescence and was further fueled when he played his first rpg video game.

Since then Vlad has been taking all artistic course and class opportunities presented to him in school.

In 2017 during his eighth grade graduation Vlad was one of three nominees for the visual arts award. Soon after he joined a small creative writing class in order to improve his storytelling and fuel his creativity.

Vlad currently lives in Kanata Ottawa attending Cedar Ridge High school. He plans to take the Concept Art Program at Max the Mutt College of Animation and Design.
