Prop Concept Art (Finished)

My favorite part of this piece is the cork, I lassoed the bottom portion of the cork (inside the glass). In Photoshop click Filters in the top right of the screen, there will be an option called blur; I picture Gaussian Blur and blurred the end of the cork to look like it was behind glass.

The Minoans wrote in a language called Linear A (which has not been translated yet) it took some characters from that language and copied them onto the little tag around the bottle.

I spent a very long time trying to get the lighting outside the bottle to look nice and in the end I'm proud of how it turned out.

The piece has made me realize that I am good at drawing object with matte surfaces but I need to work of reflective and shiny surfaces. The glass bottle itself could be improved with more practise.
